A new law just passed in Massachusetts imposes fines of up to $1000 per day and up to a 30 day jail sentence for not obeying authorities during a public health emergency. So if you are instructed to take the swine flu vaccine in Massachusetts and you refuse, you could be facing fines that will bankrupt you and a prison sentence on top of that.

If you have not realized it yet, the controversy over swine flu vaccinations is about to get very, very real. The authorities know that a lot of people are extremely concerned about the safety of the swine flu vaccine, and they are putting the infrastructure in place to deal with those dissenters.
Let us hope that the worst case scenario with the swine flu does not take place, but the reality is that health authorities across the United States are gearing up for the biggest vaccination campaign in the nation's history. It looks like this fall could be very, very interesting.

Ahhhh, are the politicians that passed this bill going to 1st in line to get their vaccine or is it only for us lowly guinea pigs. Drug companies have been doing this for years and getting away with killing people and no one can hold them accountable. Did you catch the part that said there will be no lawsuits in the case of liability because of untested vaccine and wrongful death caused by this vaccine.

Fines only hurt if you pay them.
They can only out you in jail if they’ve got a bigger gun than you do.
To get around this, you can declare the vaccinations to be against your personal, religious beliefs. If they jail you, it would be unconstitutional. There are denominations that you can join that do state their belief against vaccinations. Look up K.N.O.W. for Florida. It does a good job explaining what you can do. The government should never, ever have a say on your health. The Swine flu statistics are skewed and very wrong in the favor of people who stand to make a lot of money. Are there details in this law that outline the lawsuit and liability procedures when someone who is allergic to vaccine ingredients or has an autoimmune condition and on a steroid and has a paralyzing, anaphylactic or death experience from getting a vaccine they shouldn’t have?
It is irresponsible for governments, federal, state or local, to mandate medical treatment of any kind. It is out of the scope of practice or knowledge for most of the people who serve in that capacity to be making that decision for an individual – above and beyond that individual’s own knowledge and that of their doctors.

Back in the 70’s I was at the peak of health and stamina (college years). I got the SWINE FLU vaccination.
Within a couple days I was virtually paralyzed with my leg, arm, stomach, neck, and chest muscles in so much pain I could barely move. That lasted for over 1 week. It was the worst pain I’ve been in my entire life (and that includes later having my arm literally torn open (~150 stitches), a broken neck, and a broken back).
It took over a month to slowly improve back to normal functonality, while remaining in considerable pain for a great deal of that time.
I’ve not had any similar reaction to any subsequent flu vaccination, but at my current age and medical condition, this new largely untested, unproven, and liability-free vaccination program frightens me. One of the very few things that does.
My confidence in sound science and sound medical practice is shaken to the core with what I’ve read and heard regarding this latest program.
Government leaders must set the example first, and it would be best if it can be proved they get the real deal and not some sterile saline injection(s).
This is disgusting that the government can impose fines and jail time if a person refuses
to to get vaccinated. Since when can they demand people to take toxic drugs and how
can they keep ignoring the research that links Autism and vaccines together.
How can we make a difference? Who do we need to contact? Who will listen?

In response to Dr. Don Pfau, I agree that mandatory vaccination is unconstitutional and a violation of our fundamental right to decide what goes into our and our children’s bodies. We may however find that they will trample on our constitutional and fundamental rights and enforce whatever insanities they have up their sleeve regardless. Let’s hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
And no mention that Kathleen Sebelius signed a document a couple months ago COMPLETELY protecting federal officials and vaccine makers from any lawsuits.

The State Senate did pass this bill to be engrossed and sent to the House. We found out from one of our Senators that NONE OF THEM READ IT!
MassLPA lobbyists are at the State House 3 days per week educating our representatives on the unconstitutionality of this legislation.
For now, it is languishing in the House Ways and Means but our efforts are what prevented the house from voting on it yet. I will be there tomorrow to further the cause and to ask (repeatedly) that my representatives not vote for it.

As a parent I have seen many other parents send their children to school sick and I think they should be fined if they sent a child with swine flu to school. In January of 2001, my 22 year old son had a flu shot. Within a week he was in a coma and totally paralyzed – Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM)- see http://www.adem.org/. Today he plays quad rugby and lives in a fully handicap accessible house – all because of an extremely rare reaction to a flu shot. What’s happening in response to the swine flu is frightening.
